Youth Upcoming Calendar of Events Family Christmas Caroling and Fun Friday, January 9th, 2009 4:00 to 10:00 pm (Grand Geneva Mountaintop) Join us for a fun night of “Lutheran Skiing” at the Grand Geneva Resort Hilltop. All are invited. Sixteen ski runs await you from advance moguls to beginner bunny hills. The cost is $32 for a ski rental, lift ticket and lesson. If you bring your own skis the lift ticket is only $20. We need at least 15 in attendance. Parents are required to attend if your child is under 10. We will meet out at the Hilltop at 3:30 and get registered and fitted. Sign up sheets will be in the Gathering Space and Youth Bulletin Board, or call Jeff Haines for more information. Couch Club “Couch Club” meets Sundays in the Couch Room downstairs. All 7th thru 12th graders and their friends are welcome to join us during this fellowship time for older youth. This youth fellowship meets at 10:15 am during the summer schedule, and at noon during the regular schedule (the first Sunday after Labor day thru the Sunday before Memorial Day). Looking forward to seeing you there! |

Confirmation Ministry Seventh and Eighth graders who want to learn more about their faith in preparation to affirm their faith gather for Confirmation Ministry at Trinity. Please contact the pastor with any questions about this ministry. |

Sunday School Children from 3 years old thru 8th grade gather from 9:40 to 10:35 am on Sunday Mornings to learn about God through scripture and music while worshiping with their friends. The school year runs from the Sunday after Labor Day thru the Sunday before Memorial Day. Holiday schedules and Christmas Program information will be announced. Children and their friends are welcome to join at any time. |

New Youth Ministry Coordinator The Youth Committee is pleased to announce that Matt Weber has been chosen as the new YMC. He is a sophomore at Carthage College and has a high degree of energy and enthusiasm to work with our Youth. He will be starting in early January of 2009 and working directly with the current youth leaders to build on the exciting progress that has taken place so far. |
