Participating in God’s Mission of Life!
On behalf of the faith community of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, I extend to you a warm and friendly welcome! At Trinity, all that we do-worship with children’s time and puppets, choirs and community outreach, ministry to youth and families, Christian Education and much, much more-all of it, we do to the glory of God in response to the hope we have received through Christ Jesus our Lord! We take seriously (in a joyful, hope-filled way) Jesus’ command to ‘follow me’ and seek to faithfully participate in God’s mission of bringing hope and joy and life to the world. Together, guided by the Holy Spirit, we laugh and cry, celebrate and grieve, confess and forgive all the while trusting in God’s abundant love for creation! I hope you have the opportunity to worship with us and that through your experience of worship, your relationship with the living God is deepened and your hope for the future rejuvenated. That might be expecting a lot in 60 minutes! But as a child of God, I enter worship expecting to meet God there because God has promised to be present in Word and Sacrament! God is faithful to God’s promises-so where there is God there is hope and life. And where there are Trinity folk there is always laughter, children, caring, authentic relationships and of course…great food! The information on this website provides additional information about the ministries here. But information about ministries pales in comparison to experiencing these ministries! So consider yourself invited to share your hopes and dreams and talents and gifts and partner with us as we seek to follow Jesus. We may not get this welcome thing right all the time but know we mean it! Welcome! May the living Christ watch over and guide your days until we have the opportunity to meet again!
